The story of Jungle is one of two childhood friends, Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland, neighbours in London’s Shepherd’s Bush since they were 9 years old. Sounds like a classic story but in reality nothing about Jungle is normal or mundane. You can feel it in their atypical music, that happily fuses electro, soul and funk, and also in their team spirit that always takes centre stage, the two co-founders humbly hide behind their initials and also the dancers that feature in their immaculate videos. This community atmosphere really makes itself felt when they’re on stage, when the band delves into their four albums to take us to their party.
