Her name is Clara Cappagli and she sings in English with a striking yet sensual voice. His name is Armand Butheel and he’s the magician that conjures the haunting synth sounds of Agar Agar.
A fusion of eighties retro and totally modern sounds, this Paris duo have been electro-pop virtuosos since 2015. They met when they were at Cergy Art School and were soon scouted by indie label Cracki Records. After numerous EPs, they released their debut album last September, “The Dog and The Future”, ranked by NME as one of the best albums of 2018. They finished up the year with a concert at the legendary Paris Olympia – performing live for their fans is one of their great pleasures.
