BU$HI live show at Rock en Seine
Trap, UK drill, hip-hop, cloud rap… Bu$hi doesn’t choose sides and taps into every style that grabs his ear. Also a member of Saturn Citizen, a duo formed with childhood friend Mussy, and part of the exciting Lyonzon rap collective, he’s been carving his own solo path since dropping two mixtapes back in 2020. Born in Lyon 25 years ago and raised on the French island of Réunion, Bu$hi seems to have held on to something insular and distinctive that makes his sound stand apart. Interlude, his first album, released three years ago, laid the groundwork for a bold new chapter: Bushi Tape 3, a 2024 mixtape packed with high-calibre collabs like Quavo, Dinos and SDM. One thing’s for sure: he’s got ambition to spare and the talent to match – something many artists dream of but rarely achieve.
