LÉONIE PERNET live show at Rock en Seine
With her evolving songwriting craft, magnetic stage presence and multidisciplinary projects, Léonie Pernet is steadily carving out a place among the key figures of today’s French music scene – following in the footsteps of artists like Christophe and Mansfield TYA. Her third album, Poèmes Pulvérisés, due early June 2025, only confirms that rise and may well mark the high point of her career so far. A trained drummer (notably with Yuksek), this nuanced artist weaves together a wide range of influences (from electro and chanson to contemporary classical and African rhythms) into a deeply poetic body of work. It’s an album shaped in part by a journey she took after her last album: a personal pilgrimage to Niger, following the traces of her paternal heritage.
