More than a band, MNNQNS is first and foremost a clan.
Coming from a city (Rouen) that has long been connected to the electricity meter (Les Dogs, Olivensteins or the Sordide Sentimental label), MNNQNS has been imposing since its inception in 2013 a vision of rock that grabs the listener by the collar and shakes him for an average of 3 minutes. The idea, every time, is simple: to make us forget all the bad copies of Anglo-Saxon rock and the “baby rockers” now all in retirement homes, to erase the term “revival” which has no place here, and to prove that guitars can still save lives. First those of the band members, revealed by their first EP “Capital”, published in 2016, on which tracks like “Straight To My Bones” prove that these crazy dogs are anything but decals of Libertines et al. And this is even if Adrian, the leader, has done his scales in Wales, and MNNQNS has already played in London, capital of the racket, surprising the public with his songwriting “FCKNG GRT”.
