At the beginning of 2018, during the BRIT awards, Royal Blood told NME that they were preparing their third album at the same time as they were on tour, definitely good news for hard rock fans.
The unusual duo was formed by Mike Kerr (vocals and bass) and Ben Thatcher (drums) in Brighton in 2013. There’s no guitar but between them they still achieve melody and manage to create jaw-dropping and explosive tracks, like the ones on their first two albums “Royal Blood” (2014) and “How Did We Get So Dark?” (2017). Both are overflowing with hard-hitting and incisive hits. Like their name suggests, they are the royal offspring of Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age. They are solid gold and when you see them live they are dynamite.
