ROCK EN SEINE 2022 - FULL LINE UP

Rock en Seine is finalising its line-up by unveiling today the last names that will join the schedule of its 2022 edition. And for those in a hurry to get organised, download the mobile application on Android or IOS today and discover the concert schedules and the stage-by-stage dispatch in preview!

Robert Glasper, the legendary jazz pianist whose style ranges from soul to hip hop to gospel, will be on the program. The British revelation Holly Humberstone will also be there, with her delicate pop music reminiscent of Ben Howard and Phoebe Bridgers. Unfortunately, Dijon had to cancel its appearance, but it will be replaced by Imarhan, a band of Tuareg origin from Tamanrasset and signed to the cult label City Slang.

The regulars of Rock en Seine know it well: the Firestone stage. A stage entirely dedicated to emerging artists, to the future stars and greats of music, whose programme we reveal to you today (below)!

The dark rock of Animal Triste, the young South African rocker (based in London) Baby Queen, the indomitable Belgian (according to Les Inrocks) Blu Samu, the Liverpool quartet Crawlers, or the Chicago trio Dehd. Not forgetting Donna Blue, a Dutch duo that likes to quote Morricone or Angelo Badalamenti.

In March 2020, multi-instrumentalist Adrien Soleiman brought together artists from different backgrounds to bring Armenian music to the masses. The band is called Hey Djan, and they will be there, as well as the Danish indie rock band Klangstof, or the young Irish singer Lucy Blue, signed when she was only 17. Between rock, r’n’b and synth pop, the French band Lulu Van Trapp will also be present.

Mr. Giscard, a hybrid artist mixing rock and rap, will be on the program, as will New Dad, an independent rock band from Galway, Ireland. Olivia Dean, one of the hidden treasures of soul music, the Oracle Sisters trio, the fiery rockers of Parlor Snakes, Pogo Car Crash Control (the name is a programme), will also be there in the flesh. Finally, the film-loving rapper Shaga (the blaze comes from the film Austin Powers and his “Shagadelic”) completes this exceptional line-up, which only lacks the winner of the Firestone contest, to be announced soon!
