Super charged and euphoric, fierce and generous, committed and funny, this Australian group made a strong impression with its volcanic performance at Rock en Seine in 2023. Since then, guitarist Declan Mehrtens, bassist Gus Romer, drummer Bryce Wilson and singer Amy Taylor have released a third album widely praised by both critics and the public, Cartoon Darkness (2024). They have also supported Foo Fighters and The Offspring, logical pairings given their garage punk tinged with pub rock credentials. More surprising is their recent duet with Fred Again.., You’re a Star, released in September 2025, opening up new electro horizons. As for resident whirlwind Amy Taylor, there’s no sign she’s losing her mischievous smile any time soon.
