Club avant Seine
For many years, Rock en Seine has been committed to supporting emerging French and international talent from the independent music scene.
The Club Avant Seine is a unique and constantly evolving initiative designed to place emerging artists and their professional networks at the heart of the festival’s project. Since 2005, Rock en Seine has embraced its role as a talent scout, seeking out the major artists of tomorrow. To achieve this, a panel of industry professionals is assembled each year to identify and select promising acts.
This year, Nathalie Roy (Sacem), Léo Jouvelet (FGO-Barbara / Les Trois Baudets), Mathilde Meunier (Super!), Franck Vergeade (Les Inrocks), Olivia Cristiani (Universal Music Publishing), Rémi Politi (AEG Presents France), and Thomas de Pourquery (associate artist) worked alongside us over several months to select the Club Avant Seine 2026 artists.
We are delighted to welcome a diverse lineup of solo performers, including Arthur Fu Bandini and his literate rock sound, Billie’s new-wave pop, Maddy Street’s boundless energy, Changeline’s hyperpop-punk explosions, and Parsa Sabet’s introspective and delicate songwriting.
The bands are equally impressive: La Flemme with their incandescent rock, the epic synthwave trio Île de Garde, Mottomoda’s explosive drum & bass, Sarāb’s oriental rock, and AMG’s jazz explorations, all of whom will help shake up this new edition of the festival.
With this selection, Rock en Seine reaffirms its mission more strongly than ever: to provide a platform, visibility, and support to the artists shaping the music of tomorrow.
training PROGRAM
The first training day, dedicated to media relations, brought together several professional journalists who shared their expertise and experience. Matthieu Conquet, journalist at Radio France, opened the program with a masterclass on “Emerging Artists and Radio.” Participants then took part in a media coaching workshop led by Angèle Chatelier, journalist at TSUGI, and Marie Long-Paolacci, journalist at Basique.
Focused on health and social media, the second day began with a session by Sandrine Bileci, nutritionist and naturopath, on “Nutrition and Stress Management.” Hans-Paul Landriève, founder and director of Studio Volume, then led a discussion entitled “Mental Health and Social Media for Artists: Building a Community Without Burning Out.” The day concluded with a conversation featuring Thomas de Pourquery, moderated by Franck Vergeade.
A third and final training day will take place in September 2026.

SACEM Supports
In a constantly evolving environment, Sacem is committed to creating ever more value for the more than 240 000 authors, composers, and publishers who have chosen it to manage their copyrights. Supporting creation across all repertoires, through the guidance of its members and stakeholders in the music industry, is also one of its founding missions. For creators, composers, and publishers, this means being there at the right time starting from the very beginning of their careers. Because an emerging artist does not have the same needs as an established one, because a publisher does not face the same challenges as a broadcaster, and because a project is not supported in the same way depending on its stage of development, Sacem offers tailored support at every step of a creator’s artistic journey or project lifecycle. The partnership with Rock en Seine’s Club Avant-Seine reflects this commitment to supporting initiatives led by key players in the industry that foster the emergence and career development of authors, composers, and performers.
