STEP UP #4 : the neo-pro program
get a head start in today’s music industry !
In 2026, Rock en Seine and the National Centre for Music (CNM) will return with the 4th edition of their program, designed to help emerging talent break into the contemporary music job market.
Is this your final year of studies, and will you start looking for a job in the field of contemporary music as soon as the new academic year begins? To support you during this pivotal period, Rock en Seine and the National Music Centre have created STEP UP, a program designed to help emerging professionals enter the music job market.
Do you already have some experience in music? Are you finishing an internship, training program, or apprenticeship contract by September? The STEP UP program is made for you!

STEP UP is made to help you :
Refine your project and test it against the realities of the contemporary music industry.
Enhance your understanding of how the music ecosystem operates as a whole.
Grow your network and create your own opportunities.
STEP UP #4 will take place on Thursday August 27, Friday August 28, and Saturday August 29, 2026, during the Rock en Seine festival, at the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud. Twenty participants selected through an open call will take part in a program structured around different sessions: short training sessions, coaching, workshops, networking with industry professionals present at the festival, advisory meetings, and more. It will also be an opportunity to go behind the scenes of a large-scale festival and to enjoy informal moments over lunches and cocktails organized throughout the three days.
As part of the program, Rock en Seine and the CNM will cover professional festival accreditations for participants, as well as lunches on August 27, 28, and 29. Financial support for transportation costs may be provided for expenses exceeding €150, upon presentation of receipts.
Applications are finished, the selected participants will be announced mid-June 2026.
