Mottomoda en concert à Rock en Seine
On Bandcamp, this Franco-Japanese outfit introduces itself as “French drum and bass with a hint of hyperpop”, cheekily adding “on a drip” to their YouTube bio. Its members already have considerable experience, notably with Biche and Aqua Nebulla Oscillator, and it is perhaps thanks to the confidence built up over those years that they now compose tracks of such defiant energy. Mottomoda’s opening salvo, GLO$$, got the ball rolling in September 2025, before Kill le Tiger confirmed their devastating potential last March. One thing is certain: this wild frenzy is not going to stop there. Alexis Croisé, Akemi Fujimori, Takumi Iida and Carol Teillard d’Eyry are cooking up plenty more explosive moments, especially on stage.
