When talking about the crème de la crème of French electronic artists, there’s a good reason why Calling Marian’s name is so frequently mentioned. The producer, DJ and head of CVNT Records has carved out a place for herself by touring relentlessly, releasing records and developing a range of side projects. Earlier this year, she reimagined a composition by Elgar for Radio France, fusing classical music with electro. Her music also featured during the Paris 2024 Olympics, when American gymnastics superstar Simone Biles performed to several of her tracks. A former musicology student, Marianne Delorme has never hidden her deep love of techno, and her brilliant innovations continue to push the boundaries of a genre that never stands still.
