For many years now, Rock en Seine has been committed to supporting emerging French and international talent from the independent scene.
Club Avant Seine is a unique and ever-evolving initiative that places emerging bands and their professional network at the heart of the project. Since 2005, Rock en Seine has played the role of a talent scout, searching for the big names of tomorrow, with a jury of professionals selecting the artists.
In 2025, we were thrilled to welcome the all-female quartet ALVILDA, VERA DAISIES (formerly half of Ottis Cœur), post-punk rising stars CHEST. and TREAKS, and the Lyon-based trio EAT-GIRLS. CAMION BIP BIP, who blend punk and electroclash has also taken the stage, alongside the male duo PAMELA, worthy heirs to LCD Soundsystem. The promising NOOR and WHISPER, as well as Parisian artist ANDÉOL, have brought a softer touch with their immersive and enveloping sounds. Finally, several free spirits offered a glimpse into their hybrid worlds : young Breton artist ARØNE, self-taught MAX BABY, the band TOUT LE MONDE S’APPELLE CLARA, and the eccentric GILDAA.
With this selection, Rock en Seine continues its mission more than ever : to offer a stage, visibility, and support to the talents shaping the music of tomorrow.
training PROGRAM
In 2025, Rock en Seine has offered a training program for the Club Avant Seine artists, with three full days of workshops (two in June and one in September).
Based on feedback from past artists involved in the initiative, this program covers practical topics that complement existing support systems. The first day was focused on media relations, featuring talks from professionals in radio, press, and communications, along with hands-on interview workshops. The second day addressed artists’ physical and mental wellbeing, with sessions on nutrition, stress management, and the prevention of psychosocial risks. It was concluded with a special meeting with Jeanne Added, associate artist of the programming committee and part of the Club Avant Seine 2014. A third training day took place in September 2025.
Focus on international exposure
As part of its mission to support emerging talent beyond its own stages, Rock en Seine leverages strong connections with key players in the international music scene, particularly in the UK, to open new doors for the Club Avant Seine artists. Last summer, three acts from the 2025 selection had the opportunity to perform at partner festivals such as All Points East and the LIDO.
