Possibly the best-kept secret of Paris’s underground scene, Alvilda deliver blissful melodies, bratty power-pop, vocal harmonies that lift your mood with a single riff, and head-bobbing rhythms that sneak up on you. With an all-female line-up and no-nonsense influences, they invite comparisons to the much-missed Calamités, and more broadly to 60s girl groups and early punk pioneers.
