Ash’s most emblematic track is titled Mosaïque – a name that perfectly reflects the kaleidoscopic nature of his music. This producer and multi-instrumentalist (he plays synths, drums, guitar and saxophone) approaches his compositions like sonic journeys across continents, collecting sounds as he wanders. Born in Cairo and now based in Montreal, he brings that nomadic spirit to his videos, filmed in striking locations: in front of the pyramids of Giza, along a storm-battered road near Quebec, in the White Desert, on a tropical beach… These otherworldly settings form the perfect backdrop for his meditative electro, laced with Middle Eastern influences, as showcased on his debut album Self-Discovery (2024).
