CATHY live show at Rock en Seine
Cathy is a Parisian band made up of Audrey Rhodes-Greig, Kate Homsy, André Godon and Alek Gardet. Their musical style is mainly indie/folk, but especially live, there’s a rock aspect to it. They began playing together in autumn 2024, when André and Alek came from Istanbul to study, but Audrey and Kate had already been composing together under the name Cathy since 2022. Cathy’s music is also defined by the closeness between the two musicians, who write songs that are as much like each other as they are like themselves. The members have many references in common, but each has his or her own particular influences (Fleetwood Mac, Big Thief, Lou Reed, but also The Libertines, The War on Drugs and Mazzy Star), which, along with their two lead vocals, makes their style unique. Their latest single ‘Flowers Gloom’, as well as ‘The Sea’ and ‘Little World’, are available on all platforms.
