He’s Not! is a musical project launched in 2023 by Laura, composer and multi-instrumentalist, to share emotions and personal experiences through music. Inspired by a wide range of musical horizons (shoegaze, post-punk, dream pop, jazz and funk), this project now takes the form of a close-knit group of 4 high-school friends sharing a common passion for music and the arts as a whole. He’s Not !’s music is characterized by a deep sensitivity and a free rein to emotion, which is at the heart of the band’s work, influencing both composition and interpretation. As a result, each song has its own universe, all part of a desire to share a moment of sincerity expressed through music.
