I Hate Models is the alias of a French producer and DJ who’s always hidden behind a mask, long before the pandemic made them the norm. The name is better understood as “I hate patterns” or “I reject models,” rather than anything to do with fashion. A true techno iconoclast, he resists labels and clichés. His sharp, cutting tracks often carry a streak of melancholy or nostalgia, with the uncompromising energy of someone who knows exactly where they’re headed.
