VERA DAISIES

Margaux Jaudinaud first made her mark as one half of the much-missed duo Ottis Cœur, the all-female act that brought a welcome burst of raw energy to the French rock scene between 2020 and 2024. Now she’s back under the name Vera Daisies, a solo venture into self-expression that still embraces collaboration, notably with Géraldine Beaux (aka Geagea), who produced her debut single, Chess Game. Released at the end of May, it dives into themes of love, melancholy and the delicate shift from adolescence to adulthood. As both singer and guitarist, she blends modern hyperpop elements with the time-warped guitar tones of the nineties that have long fascinated her.
