While many artists are content to reproduce their albums on stage with little added value, Danish trio WhoMadeWho take a far more ambitious and generous approach. Their concerts are full-scale immersive experiences, where finely tuned sound is inseparable from carefully crafted visual design. They’ve performed in the Californian desert at Burning Man, on a 360° stage surrounded by the crowd in Mexico City, and in front of Egypt’s Abu Simbel temple. Now, singer and bassist Tomas Høffding, jazzy guitarist Jeppe Kjellberg and drummer Tomas Barfod bring their spectacular setup to Rock en Seine. Expect a set that fuses pop, electronic and experimental sounds – and delivers nothing short of a transcendent live experience.
