Grandma's ashes en concert à Rock en Seine
Stoner, grunge, nu-metal, gothic rock, industrial, progressive rock: the three Parisians that make up Grandma’s Ashes channel all the styles they love into their music. Their original aim was to simultaneously play loud, exorcise their demons and create songs that hit you in the gut. Mission accomplished, as heard on their second studio album Bruxism, released last October. Formed in 2017, this explosive power trio recently performed at Les Foudres, the ceremony celebrating the best of French metal. It’s never too late to discover, ideally live, the visceral sonic blasts crafted by Eva Hägen on bass and vocals, Myriam El Moumni on guitar and Edith Séguier on drums.
