Enabling people with disabilities to play music, compose, express themselves through art, escape isolation and be creative as part of a group is the aim of the HandyArtMix and Artis Facta project, both associations based in the French city of Nantes where they organise weekly creative workshops. This is how the Soyuuz collective was founded in 2019 by a former educator and musicians all with a passion for post-punk. Then, in 2021, they replaced their beatbox with a professional bassist and a professional drummer. This exceptional band is in the throes of preparing their first album. You’ll be hearing some of their tracks at Rock en Seine and we’ll applaud this unique group without hesitation.
