Sofie Royer, a phenomenon of the Stones Throw label, seems to have it all: a caressing voice that’s effortlessly expressive, an elegance in her lyrics, an innate sense of songwriting, boundless imagination, and, above all, an ability to create her own visual and musical universe without ever thinking about trends.
