When is a band is more than a band? When it involves artists David and Stephen Dewaele who are so brimming over with ideas, they need two artistic outlets. Having earned their electro-rock reputation with Soulwax, the Flemish brothers established 2manydjs for their joint DJ sets which in turn became a channel for their incredible mashups: taking the vocals from one track and laying it over another. What started as a hobby turned into a global phenomenon that’s been around for 20 years now. We’ll be welcoming the Dewaele brothers on two consecutive days at Rock en Seine, firstly in their Soulwax incarnation, and the following day as 2manydjs.
