Their first pop-folk album, The Whole Story, released at the beginning of the year, confirms what we already suspected from the respective CVs of these musicians: the four friends from Astral Bakers are already virtuosos of their art. They are Ambroise Willaume (alias Sage, formerly of Revolver), Théodora Delilez, Nicolas Lockhart, and Zoé Hochberg – names that have already been seen alongside such luminaries of the contemporary French scene as Clara Luciani, Pomme, Fishbach and November Ultra. So it’s no surprise that their first compositions with Astral Bakers already seem so accomplished: these four are far from being novices. Their mastery is confirmed in their live performances, where they thrive and create an atmosphere as peaceful as it is bright.
