The four members of Dog Park are the latest living proof that the Parisian lo-fi scene is thriving. They released their very first album, Festina Lente, in the spring and it’s bound to dazzle fans of dream and jangle pop. The group consists of a cosmopolitan cast: American Erica Ashleson (escapee from the indie rock duo Special Friend), Brazilian Isabella Catani (whose solo project is Green Catani), and two French musicians previously seen in Fiasco, Sarah Pitet and Jean Duffour (aka Uneima). Together, the chemistry works perfectly, with a mix of DIY rock and soft pop reminiscent of Beach House or Veronica Falls. Ideal for those inner daydream moments with a distant gaze and a discreet smile on the lips.
