If her angelic face seems familiar, it’s because this young woman has already proven her musical talents as part of Agar Agar, the innovative electro-pop duo she co-founded ten years ago while studying at art school (the Cergy École nationale supérieure d’arts). Once a visionary, always a visionary. Following the release of her group’s second album last year, Player Non Player, the French singer craved a solo adventure and opted for a new moniker, Clara Kimera – perhaps recalling a ‘chimera,’ which would aptly reflect the dreamlike tendencies of her music. She has posted snippets of this new project on Instagram, where her silky voice delicately overlays melancholic keyboards or guitars: intriguing previews that promise an exciting continuation.
